Official launch ceremony in Damascus with Tourism Minister and governors
IGO launched the project at a ceremony attended by Tourism Minister Mazen al-Salhani, Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Edlbi, Rif Dimashq Governor Amer al-Sheikh, Civil Aviation Authority chairman Omar al-Husari and Jordanian Ambassador Sufian Qudah. Businessman Moafaq Al Gaddah described it as the first phase of the group's activities in Syria, with further projects planned for Damascus, Rif Dimashq and Latakia.
