Protesters enter Abyat Hills site and halt excavation equipment
Dozens of residents from Dummar, Qudsaya, Al-Bajaa and Al-Mu'adamiyah marched peacefully from Qudsaya square to the Sham View and Abyat Hills offices, halted excavation machinery and entered the site, demanding cancellation of expropriations, an end to handing expropriated land to investors, and fair compensation. No official response was recorded to date.
