SANA reported total investment above $2bn across the two Abyat projects, with 2,000+ direct and 6,000+ indirect jobs, and that subscriber funds go into a joint account between the General Housing Establishment and the company, released only against completion rates. The company later put Abyat Hills' share at about $200 million.
